Power in Christ
Acts 3 talks about the man who was carried and laid at the gate call Beautiful. He was laid there to beg for "alms" from those going into the temple each day. When Peter and John began to enter the man asked them for an alm, and Peter answered and said money I don't have, but what I do have...I give unto you in the name of Jesus Christ.
Peter invoked the name of Jesus before he lifted the man up, and immediately he received power to not only stand, but to leap! What are your thoughts on this power that Peter displayed in the clear act of faith and confidence in what he had (Acts 3:6).

Power in your Faith
Good Evening...sorry I arrived late to the party!
Last night, Wednesday, we discussed the fact that without Faith, you have no power. You will note in the Gospel, there was a man who had a son who fell in and out of fire and water. The father brought the boy to the disciples of Christ, but they could not "cure" him. Christ was able to heal the boy and then was confronted with the notion of why "they" could not do what He had done. Christ answered them and told them in essence, you are filled with faith.
What causes us to have faith in some instances and very little in others? Why do we seek power, but refuse to believe in the Faith, which brings the power?
