Many times our thoughts say one thing, but our actions show something totally different. It is easy to think that you are in control of "you," but under the right circumstances, "you" become someone totally different than who "you" thought.
How do you handle adversity when it knocks on the door of your personality and spirituality? What is so different about the way you confront adversity now as opposed to maybe 4 years ago? Let's have an open and honest discussion!

P.S. Here some helpful references...Joseph never complained about the situation but pressed his way through adversity. Jesus never complained...although He did ask for the cup to pass from Him, but He also cried "nevertheless," and pressed His way through the adversity.

I'm a day late but it's all good!The way I would have handled adversity 4yrs ago would have had alot of four lettered words that you would you get smacked in the face for saying in front of your "momma" and I would have probably punched someone in the face for real! 4yrs ago I was messed up inside and out and spiritually I would have known better but I would have acted from the "flesh". I did'nt have the whole idea of being "Christ like" down then.
Thank God for Grace and Mercy! Now I am able to keep my attitude in check. I realize that affliction is a good thing because that lets me know I'm moving in the right direction. I stop trying to get at my "haters" and just focused on the bigger picture they arent hating on ME it is the potential and the Christ in ME!They cant understand how you have all this favor and things are looking good for you remember "Favor aint Fair" so I keep it moving!
Now understand "I'm Under Construction" from time to time I have a throwback moment! That just lets me know I have to stay prayed up and keep the word not only in my mouth but in my heart!God is in control of all this and the battle is not yours it is the Lords!So I feel as long as I seek Him first and humble myself then He got my back! He made Us promises and He will do exactly what He said He would do!
