Tonight I want ask a question about what we sometimes take for granted, but is still very important in all of our lives...MUSIC! There are songs that have so much impact in our lives and provide a place of refuge for our journey through life. Here is tonights question...what is your favorite Gospel/Christian song, and why?

You are so right Pastor. Music does have such as impact on our lives and I have a greater appreciation for it today than I had before. But, I am not so sure if I can say that I have one favorite Gospel song. I have several favorites! When I see myself in a storm, I love to heart SAFE IN HIS ARMS to encourage me that when the storms of life start raging I can find peace by being IN HIS ARMS. Then when I am facing that situation that is trying to discourage me, I want to hear the song by Donald Lawrence and the Tri-City Singers...GIANTS! They do die and the bigger they are the harder the will fall. Then when I just look back over my life and see where the Lord has brought me from I begin to sing the song that remained number 1 on the charts for a while...Marvin Sapps, NEVER WOULD HAVE MADE IT!
My list could go on and on. I really love gospel music and now that I am older is not so much of the beat that I hear I listen to the words of the song!
